My Family 2014 in Wide Open Spaces

Wide Open Spaces…. its a paradox for so much for me right now. Regardless of the space you believe you have, I want my boys to know they create their own space, their own dreams, and for so many this year that is all I want.

When I started planning for Baby Silas nursery, I knew I wanted to create a space that was open, light, and airy. Inspiration always starts somewhere, and for me one of my best friends Mom had a painting she had done of sheep in a field with two babies and well that was it. The nursery is still in progress but I hopefully before the end of this month it will be done so I can share! (Hopefully!) 🙂

Since this year our fall pictures were also maternity pictures I wanted a “wide open space” to be able to capture our family in. I first met Tricia Whitmer 8 plus years ago when my husband coached her sons football team. Then she went on to shoot our wedding, Roman’s newborn photos, and for me was one of the original inspiration of following this crazy dream of being a photographer. She lives in in Newnan, but happens to live on an AMAZING farm. We made the drive and it was so worth it! Tricia thank you once again for sharing your talent with my family! Here is my crazy expanding bunch! All images shot by Tricia Whitmer and edited by yours truly.

I see these and I think… are they really mine?

Picture on the right… one of my favs….

A rare calm moment… did I mention rare 😉 Such cute boys… I know, I know I am biased! 🙂

Our last family photos as a family of four!!! Cray cray that I am going to have THREE boys! … Oh and look at Roman’s face in the right picture. HA!

My crazy wild man….

We then headed out to the fields for a couple a couples with the cows!

I wonder what August is thinking here 🙂

I told them to race around us and see who can win… With boys a little competition always works and makes for some fun pictures!

Another one of my favs.

Oh August you have no idea what is about to hit you!

I am kinda obsessed with animals right now…

I mean how pretty are these Longhorns!

Just LOVE! Tricia thank you again. For opening up your home and sharing your time and talent with us. Means the world and these images could not have been more perfect! I almost threw in the towel this year because I don’t like the way I look pregnant. I realized it is not about me, and I am SO THANKFUL for these memories and for preserving this stage in our lives!
xoxo
