This is seriously like a dream. Ask me 6 months ago would I be working on a 2016 Planner and I would tell you that you are straight up cray cray(that means crazy Mom). 😉 I am SOOOOOOO excited for our 2016 version!
First these are just “prototypes” for us with all our changes/additions for 2016, there are even going to be a couple more tweaks, updates, and changes from these images below, but I think it will give you and idea of what to expect. 2016 will be January – December and packed full of amazing USEFUL content!

I am going to start with this image… For me this has made the biggest impact. Friends when we now have dividers!!! Woot! 12 for each month…. and 4 that now separates the sections of the planners so you can quickly and easily navigate! Another big change is project is also home to all of our event planners to. Vacation planning, holiday planning, etc so you can easily find it in ONE location! I might have just squealed… 🙂
YES… the inside front and back cover now has a folder! We took our the clear plastic folder out and added TWO custom folders! Woot!
Our Classic Grey Start Planner has a classic grey folder to match its design.
On the daily pages you will now see icons on the right for working out, supplements/vitamins, and water intake. You will also see a new icon! cal for calories in and out if you are someone that tracks that. That would scare me so I don’t track that. 🙂

Here are a couple add-ons if you want to pimp your planner out. The image on the left is our new Start Planner Sticky notepad. It is GREAT for when you are in a meeting, on a call, or anytime you are needing to jot down something fast. It is sticky to you can leave it inside the planner right on the page and/or transfer your complete thought to the planner looking all pretty and toss the messy writing.
Next is Start Planner tape!!!!! This stuff is the bomb. Great for blocking out days/times in your planner or highlighting things you can’t forget. The nice thing is you can put it down on the page and even pick it back up and move it again! It is almost magic.
When I am taking notes I use a pencil and I wanted something that would make me happy and spark a fire when I looked at it. Well because during my brainstorming process I usually change my mind a million times…. and if you are also a follower of my blog you also know that I am well…. a horrible speller. No worries the pencils have erasers.
If you purchased a 2015 planner we included a paper bookmark. Well in my opinion I haven’t used it…. it kept falling out and everyone wanted a more permenant solution. We are all about function and purpose…. so you can now purchase a plastic(won’t break or ripe) bookmark that with pop into the spiral ring bound(won’t fall out) and IT ALSO has a ruler on it(another purpose)! I am excited I will also be able to use it to draw a straight line!
First we had a TON of feedback. We took it all into consideration and have picked things that will try to work for majority of our users. Our weekend page we have decided to make Saturday hourly and then on Sunday have AM and PM to hit overarching to-dos. Sunday for us is a family day and we try not to work, and while we realize that it won’t work for everyone. We feel like it will rock for most!!! A couple things that we have added that are not noted(and you will see more too)
* We added a monthly grocery list that is a whole page all to itself. Great for the wholesale store runs, home improvement store, etc.
* Notes… every month now has a blank page to write notes.
* Password… a page to write down random passwords from all these different sites…. just don’t loose it and don’t put financial passwords! 🙂
* Entertainment section- for books, music, movies, and events that you want to attend.
* Address: A section to add updated addresses throughout the year. Keep your mailing list online digitally, but when people move, get married, etc. keep them updated in one central location to update your digital document.
