Summer days…

Summer is in full swing and I can see and end in sight which I have mixed emotions about. We have been to Rosemary Beach and then to Panama City Beach for a couple getaways. AND….we were suppose to head off to Italy for 10 days…. but really long story short the day we were suppose to leave they grounded 6 flights from Europe to America due to an ongoing bomb threat. Call it a gut feeling, but there was no dragging my husband on the plane. Which in light of all the news as much as we were looking forward to it, sometimes your gut is what you have to listen too and Europe isn’t going anywhere 🙂

In summers before I have spent a lot my days working and this year I have set my schedule, been okay with working part time, and getting things done as need be. My kids will only be little once…. period. Working for yourself doing what you love can sometimes be hard and especially if you have kids. There is a constant pull of balance on commitments. What a lot of women don’t understand is it is okay to set expectations for yourself and it is okay if they vary per month. Everyone should set monthly goals for their business. My August and September will look different than my June and July. It just took me 5 years to understand that and feel like I am in control. And yes…. waking up early is a huge part of keeping all the wheels turning.

Here are some beach pictures from our family beach trip! Both of my boys loved the beach this year, which was awesome!

I can’t believe how fast he is growing! Where is my baby going? 🙁

A lot of building in the sand!

Roman will be starting 1st grade in a couple weeks! Yikes!

You know Moms… that picture where you want ONE family photo on the beach but both of the kids don’t want to cooperate so the only two left for the picture is the parents…. oh well 🙂

Brothers.

Brother Dustin and his girl, Laura. 🙂

That moment when you say honey can you take the camera for a couple minutes so I am in a couple pictures from this trip… ladies you have to do that!

Then he takes this goofy picture! Men all Moms really want is a couple pictures with their kids! 🙂

Uncle Justin and Roman.

That moment when you realize they are building a castle and if we hurry and run and stand behind them it will be somewhat of a family photo. 🙂

One of my favorite pictures that was just randomly snapped. Rare moment of my wild man snuggling.

Papa and Roman boogie-boarding!

The last night we had already lost almost ALL of our light but I decided to drag them two down to the beach for a couple pictures. So glad I did. Laura you are too cute!
