Vampires and Werewolves: Halloween 2018

This year Roman didn’t want to do family costumes. I mean I get it, he is 10 and wants to do his own things with his friends, but I wasn’t ready for that comment. He said, “Mom I just want to pick and want to do something scarier.” I said, “Okay, what are you thinking?” He said I want to be a vampire. I thought to myself…. I can roll with that. “I immediately responded what if you pick and we join you? You be a vampire and I will join you and your brothers can be werewolves.” He looked at me and smiled and I knew I had him! Score…. this might be our last year as a family dressing up but I will cling onto any moments they will allow me. Jeremy wasn’t going to dress up and last minute he threw together a vampire costume and I am so glad he did for our boys.

So many people asked us were we going for a Twilight theme. I mean not really, just more the battle of those two immortal creatures. And I mean…. look at Roman…. he killed it!!!

Because so many people have been asking details. I thought I would summarize them here.

Details:

Makeup was by Kisha Marie Artistry.

Yes, I am wearing hair extensions and did a solid center part to play the part.

My costume. Amazon– $28

Roman’s Cape – Amazon – $58

Silas’s Costume (3-year old) – Amazon –  I wanted to put paint on his nose but he wasn’t having it so I didn’t push it. 🙂 I was lucky to get the pictures below that I did!

August’s Costume – Amazon – (6-year old that trick or treated like it was his job!)

Our teeth yes were fangs and we used Fixadent to put them in! 🙂 All in right? They came off just fine! Fangs We Used

Hair Gel for Roman’s white hair and Jeremy’s – White Paste.

Gosh…. how is this boy mine. And I don’t care what anyone says… he looks like me here!

Silas right here was pitching a fit on the left wanting to take it off but let’s act like he was being a werewolf and playing the part. Okay? Okay. 😉

Love these boys…

Then in walked my Aunt Deanna and Uncle Bryan… and mind you they look nothing like this…

Our ‘hood does Halloween Big. Streets roped off, houses decorated, families filling the streets and this right here is a night I will remember forever. I just hope my boys always have the BEST Halloween memories of all the fun!

Here are the streets before the madness. When it gets dark you can hardly even see the streets. And Holly you look boo-utiful friend!

Here are some from trick or treating in the hood. We went early so we could get back to the house because honestly handing out the candy is SO MUCH FUN!!

Will end it here. Silas sat on the front porch with me and handed out 2500 pieces of candy, smiling and telling everyone “Happy Halwen” all night long! He didn’t quit smiling or handing out until we ran out!

We had music going, the fog was rolling and a good time was had by all. Halloween 2018 is a special one that I will remember forever.
