Do you have a peak time? I really think we all do and I also think how we treat our body both by fueling it and physical activity will determine how much peak productivity you will have. Wait what? Yes, I believe that if you are taking care of yourself physically you will be able to give more energy in all aspects of your life.
With that being said we ALL have peak times for productivity. For me that is in the morning. I am rested, not distracted, and sharper leaving me to complete tasks faster. I know this is a bold statement but I feel like since I know my own peak hours for productivity I am able to get more done in 20 hours that could take someone else 40 hours to complete. I also know if you come to me at 7pm and need me to turn something around for work it won’t be great at all….. for that matter it probably won’t even be good and it will take me twice as long.
Once you know when you are most productive schedule your day to cater to that specific timeframe. I try to group like-minded activities together and save the bulk of my to-do list for earlier in the morning. For instance, if I have multiple meetings I try to group them together in the afternoon. This saves time and helps me to be more efficient with my time in the morning. Anything you do you only get out what you put into it. If you are an entrepreneur wouldn’t you agree that any success you have had has been from an action you or someone on your team did. Set your schedule up to maximize your peak hours in order to create more action!
