Day 3… Animal Kingdom! I love this place! I still feel like we have not seen ALL of this park! Last year we saw a lot of it but we also missed doing so much! This year I tried to create a different schedule with restaurants/shows etc. I really am so impressed by all the architecture in this park!
That mountain in the back is a ride, Expedition Everest!
Yay! Everyone cheesin’ it up and smiling… and only a couple of threats! 😉
We started our day off by watching the show It’s a Bug’s Life”, which is inside this tree. Is the detail on this tree not just amazing!
Then we went on to the Safari. This is a must do for Animal Kingdom! We did this last year and again this year and it is one everyone enjoys!
Hippo in the water… look close!
So many beautiful animals. Random… anyone know why flamingos are pink? Did you know it was from eating shrimp? There is your random fact of the day!
Kiddos!
August took pride in having a map and telling us exactly where to go!
Bless him… look at that sweaty hair! We were staying at Magic Kingdom so little man had to nap in tow at Animal Kingdom. He figured it out though just fine.
Dinosaurs ride! This was an unexpected fun ride that the kids loved!
We had lunch in little Asia and then went and got soaked on Kali Rapid River… you know so we could all be soaked for the rest of the day. 😉
Last year we watched the Lion King show, so this year we decided to go to the Finding Nemo Musical.
Next time you are there… see it if you haven’t! Entertaining, great costumes, and just raw talent putting it together! That is one thing I love about Disney is they don’t skip on talent! Here are some of the scenes, and it was also a perfect way to break up the day and get out of the heat for a bit!

After this show we headed to Animal Kingdom Lodge to have dinner Jiko to eat among the animals.
One day left to cover! Final day at Magic Kingdom!
How was animal kingdom with your little guy? My family & I are planning to go next month. I have a 2 year old & a 3 month old. I’m sorta anxious to see how my toddler will do!
Looks like fun!
