Well, hello, friends!!! 🤍
Words have been a little absent around here lately. Or maybe I should say blogging has been absent because I certainly haven’t been short on words! HA!
Life has been full, and quite frankly, I just haven’t allocated the time to sit down and write. But with a few recent announcements, I’ve received quite a few questions, so I figured it was time for a little update!
And there is LOTS to share!
Some of you may not know this, but I’ve actually had my real estate license for several years. I recently decided it was time to officially put it to work!
I’m now licensed with Bagley Commercial, which allows me to represent clients in both commercial and residential real estate.
If you’ve followed me for any length of time, you know my love for real estate isn’t new.
From investing in properties and renovating homes to envisioning what a space could become, real estate has been woven into my business journey for years.
And if you’ve seen my portfolio of projects, you know it’s a mix!
I’ve always loved the intersection of business, real estate, design, and opportunity.
I love looking at a property and seeing the potential that others might overlook. I love understanding the numbers, evaluating the investment, and then figuring out how to bring a vision to life.
My hope is that my years of business experience, investment knowledge, and hands-on renovation experience will allow me to serve clients from a slightly different perspective.
Whether you’re buying, selling, investing, or exploring commercial opportunities, I’d love to help!

And speaking of homes…
Ohhhhh, this one!!!
If you thought renovating the1926 farmhouse was an adventure, let me introduce you to the LOG HOME!
We’re currently in the middle of renovating a log home, and goodness gracious, this project has challenged us in ways I never anticipated.
I thought the 1926 farmhouse was tough. HA!
But this one? It seems like around every corner there’s another surprise, another decision, or another lesson to be learned.
Renovating an existing home is one thing. Renovating a log home while trying to preserve its character, modernize the spaces, and create something that feels cohesive is an entirely different adventure!
There have been challenges. There have been turning points. There have certainly been moments when I’ve questioned a decision or two.
BUT I SEE THE VISION!!!
And I am SO incredibly excited about where this one is headed!
One of my favorite things about renovating is watching a space transform. Taking something that might feel dated, overlooked, or disconnected and helping it become something beautiful and functional.
That’s the magic for me.
We’re finally getting to the point where some of the finished spaces are starting to come together, and I thought it would be fun to share a few before-and-after glimpses!
I’ve also shared a recent social media post highlighting some of the progress. We still have plenty of work ahead of us, but we’re getting there!!!
And just like with the farmhouse, as rooms are completed, I’ll be sharing all the details.
Sources, materials, finishes, paint colors, design decisions, and probably a few lessons learned along the way! But here is a sneak peak!!! You can follow more on instagram too to see videos and more!
Here is before of the log home!

Primary bathroom before and after!

Before of the overall. Shed in the back, POOL and a beautiful lot!

And the kitchen… NIGHT and DAY!

So, as always, BRING YOUR QUESTIONS!
I love sharing the process, not just the pretty finished pictures, because sometimes the most valuable lessons happen in the middle of the mess.
There is so much happening behind the scenes right now, and I’m excited to start sharing more of it here again.
Business. Real estate. Renovations. Family. Life.
All the things that make up this wonderfully full season!
And while I haven’t been as consistent with blogging as I’d like, I do miss having this little corner of the internet to share more than a quick social media caption.
And don’t worry, STARTplanner® isn’t going anywhere! In fact, our 2027 planners just arrived, and preorders have already shipped! START has been part of my life for more than a decade, and while my businesses and interests continue to evolve, intentional planning remains at the heart of everything I do and creating one DATED planner a year is important! Check out the 2027 line here!
So here’s to making a little more time for words, sharing the journey, and continuing to see the potential in what’s ahead.
Thanks for being here, friends!
