It has almost been a month since I have posted!!! It has been a crazy month to say the least. Here is a little recap on last month.
My Grandma went to be with the Lord March 11th, we are all still adjusting to life without her here. Somedays I still feeI like she is not gone, and other days the reality deeply sets in. We all have confort in knowing she is no longer suffering or in any pain. This experience and being by her side as she made the crossover has forever changed my life. She was one of the kindest ladies I knew. Being the only granddaughter of 9 grandkids… to say the least I was spoiled by her. I am so blessed to have such an amazing family and to have spent the years and moments that we did together. She will be missed dearly.
Here is a picture of Grandma in 1954.

Here is a picture this past Christmas at her home. I don’t know what it is was but we always take pictures, but this last year I felt compelled to make everyone go outside for a few quick pictures. Everyone was gripping and complaining as normal, but these pictures I will treasure forever. This picture was my grandma in a nutshell.

This has also been our first spring in our new home so we have had about a billion projects! New gates, flowers, new backyard patio, rock built in grill area, and new sod. I will give more of an update on this later. But for reference here is a quick before and after iphone shot of the backyard. My Dad’s company (Mark Gayton Stone ) helped with the stone work, but other than that we have done it ourselves! Yes I even broke a nail or two! š Busy this last month is an understatement. Been a hard month but I am looking forward to all this amazing spring weather and the next couple of weeks!
