Atlanta Zoo: Shooting Personal Pictures

One thing I have failed at with my kids here lately is taking more daily life pictures! The curse of the photographer I suppose. 😉 Up until August was a year old I did the Watch Me Grow pictures. What that did was force me to pull my camera out and take pictures of the boys. He is 15 months old now and I think I have only taken the camera out twice since his 1st birthday for personal pictures. Once at Roman’s birthday and again at Easter.

I am here to say, that is going to change. I’m going to leave my camera out of the bag to take more daily life pictures. These are the moments I want to hang onto forever!

Last week Roman and I went to the ZOO. I have been so busy lately I have to remind myself to slow down and enjoy the moments. It was a perfect day! Daddy stayed with August so it was a day that I could give all my attention to Roman and he loved it! Because I’m reminding myself to take my camera with me more, here are a few snapshots from the day.

Roman thought it was so neat to see all these animals! It was our first trip to the zoo!

A rare snapshot with my boy! I hardly ever get snapshots with them, and I think this is probably true for a lot of Moms! Who cares what you are wearing or what you look like? Take a second to gets these moments!
