Photography is SOOO much more than the gear that we have strap to us, the software that we use to edit, and the posing that we do during a session…. the core to a getting a great image I believe is personality.
If I had to pick one term to describe my style it is editorial, but I don’t think my end product is just one style. Sure I love posing clients with the perfect sunset, putting them in random places, and making them feel amazing… but my favorite images are the ones that end up showing the heart of my clients….
Huh… say what??…. Like I said, I direct clients on posing and interaction, but the entire time I am caring on a conversation with them. I don’t care if you are my best friend, if I put you in front of my camera you can get nervous and look at me like what in the world do I do (I get nervous for pictures!).
All back to my orginal point. Being the photographer if is your job to talk and make them feel comfortable. That is the true value in photography… it is the photographers ability to do all of this.
