Twas the night before Christmas

One of my FAVORITE things to do every year is our Christmas Card!!!! I look back over the last 9 (yes I have been married 9 years… yikes) and I love seeing how we have changed and grown as a family.

But why I really love it so much is I know when people open up Christmas cards I have the opportunity to put a smile on their face! To me sending cards is an old school thing that will not go away! It makes me one happy person to send and receive cards, and every year I challenge myself to see what I can come up with the next year! One of the things I miss the most is my Grandpa. We lost her a couple years ago but she would always be the first person to call, rave, and would take it with her everywhere. I always had to give her two. She was so proud… miss everyday but for some reason on the day I send I miss her even more.

How does a great Christmas Card come about? Idea + Great Images + Great Design. I came up with the idea and laid out what all I wanted it to say, shared it with Brooke(Paperlilly) who rocked out our pictures, and then Jenny (my business partner and right hand with StartPlanner and StartKickinBooty rocked out the design). I will have to share some of the other Christmas Cards we did for clients! More on that soon! Then wrapping it up BlackRiverImaging.com turned everything into beautiful cards!

I wish I could send a Christmas Card to everyone so accept this as Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from my family to yours! I really hope this season for you is happy and bright!

*and yes this will be a template next year so you can use it for your own family or your clients (photographers) 🙂

Without further ado…. the Front! *printed on brilliant cotton

The front side is “Twas the Night before Christmas” The back is pictures of the boys, their age, and a little reality check that no one will be nestled in beds.
