Farmhouse Kitchen

This kitchen, I am obsessed with, and I don’t know about you but it just makes me want to bake! It is now a place for everyone to gather and get creative, work hard, and be productive. It’s just so inviting!! When you walk in from the back door, you enter into the mudroom which is directly attached to the kitchen and all the warm sunshine just floods in!! I feel like that’s the perfect word to describe this space… warm. All original wood molding and cabinets and an insane fireplace!! A Large window that showcases the garden! Just everything about it makes me smile it probably is one of my favorite rooms in the entire home!! The light is so great too!

Before I show you the before and after, I just wanted to share how excited I am and grateful that I get to share this space with so many others. A community I grew up in and have loved. Super thankful for the journey that has led me to this moment.

Before & After

Okay, now to the good stuff; what you really came here to see! Renovating homes has always been a passion of mine and it lights a fire in me that makes me smile and feel so productive! Taking old and making it new!

Let’s get into the before and after of the kitchen. Below I’ll have all the links and credits to those who helped me make this come to life!

Isn’t this what dreams are made of? The island I decided to go custom so it can be used as a workspace. It is a custom butcher block, so it fits the space perfectly and it is high top. The base is black. The barstools were original to the home we just had new fabric put on top and did legs that are black to match the table so they blend.

This tile is hand made, and I love the character! The cleanliness and how it just gave it so much soul!

Because you know my love of plants scattered and this lavender plant is so happy!

The fireplace in the kitchen is one of my favorite things! I redid the hearth and ran a gas line so that gas logs could be stuck in and there could be an amazing ambiance.

This fridge…. I love it so much.
